In House Training

Welcome to Right Mind Training, which provides expert training and consultancy for a range of care providers, with an emphasis on enduring mental illness, long term mental health problems and training for those who care for someone with mental health needs.

Why Right Mind training?

We offer a wide range of training options that cater for people who work in a variety of settings, the training is delivered on your premises and includes high quality handouts and in some cases a CD and relaxation material. All participants will receive a certificate of attendance, which will meet their CPD training needs.

All training will be done by qualified professionals such as an RMN.

All training can be catered to your specific needs; we will deliver what you want when you want. Training will be informative educational and fun with the emphasis on utilising a variety of teaching methods.

All courses can be either a half day or full day depending on your needs, a number of half days can be arranged to suit your organisations needs.

How do we deliver our training?

Training days will be facilitated by one or more of our Mental health trainers who have a wealth of experience in this area and who have an in depth knowledge of selected topics.

All training will be geared to the varying levels and experience of participants ranging from fundamental, in-between or experienced.

The length of the training will be designed to suit the individuals of the organisation, if needed a number of half days training or a full day or two full days training.

As most of our facilitators are experienced lecturers and practitioners, a number of training methods will be used varying from power point presentations, discussions, case studies, video clips, quizzes all of which are aimed at encouraging participants to be interactive and to participate in the days training.

Who is it aimed at?

RMT is available for anyone who works in any area of the care sector, and its emphasis is on educating individuals who work with individuals who have ongoing mental health problems.

Training is ideally suited to individuals working in local authority sectors, social housing work, care homes, residential homes, supported housing/accommodation, the voluntary sector, and social care.

It can also be tailored to suit an individual’s organisational needs and would be very useful for those working in the police force or within a health care setting.

Training is also given in anxiety and stress management which is aimed at people who work in stressful environments and who may need help in anxiety management, RMT acknowledges that working with a client group with mental health issues is rewarding but also stressful and has training to help staff at all levels.
